The delay is due to ongoing audit work related to the previous quarter and the need for a comprehensive review of accounting treatments for the prior two fiscal years, necessitated by issues related to our former auditors, BF Borgers CPA PC.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently charged BF Borgers CPA PC and its principals for significant audit deficiencies, which has compelled Winvest Group to re-examine the financial statements for fiscal years 2022 and 2023 to ensure full compliance with Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards. This process, while time-consuming, is essential for maintaining the trust and confidence of our stakeholders.
